Back Acne Treatment
If you’re looking for some back acne treatment, it’s basically going to be the same as treating your regular acne. The only difference with back acne is it is a bit more difficult to treat because the skin on your back doesn’t heal as fast and the skin is also a lot thicker back there. But if you had to deal with it, this is what you should try out:
1. Exfoliate
When it comes to back acne treatment, you need to make sure the treatment can penetrate that thick skin, so exfoliating is priority #1. Before you apply any kind of treatment, get an exfoliating scrub from the drug store and use it in the shower to remove the first layer of skin and any dead skin cells.
2. Use A Benzoyl Peroxide Product
Once you’ve exfoliated, the next thing you’ll want to try is a benzoyl peroxide product. You can pick one up at the store, make sure it’s 10%. Apply it right after your shower and keep in mind that this can usually bleach your shirts, so make sure you wear shirts you don’t care about after this treatment.
3. Clothing
The next thing you want to keep in mind is to stay away from tight fitting clothes, that will only irritate the bacne further. Also, do not lug around any backpacks that will cause further chaffing.
4. Shower After Exercise
If you frequent the gym, it’s also important to note that you always shower after you exercise, failing to do so can lead to bacteria buildup on the back and worsen your case of bacne.
When it comes to back acne treatment, there’s not much else you can do other than taking internal medication to help prevent future breakouts. If you can, that would actually be a better way of handling it. You see acne starts up due to hormonal imbalances, if you can ingest a pill which helps regulate your hormonal levels though, you can prevent future breakouts. Combine this with a good acne cream and you’ve got a great anti-bacne system. Click here to learn more about this type of treatment.
